GIVE ME MORE PHYSICAL FEST!
Physical Fest 4 has been very exciting and inspiring! We were very lucky to have Maria Malone on board as a festival co-ordinator. Thank you Maria!
We managed to get the legend, Yoshi Oida for the first time to Liverpool and we feel very inspired after sharing four days with this amazing man . We worked with him in a four day workshop and we shared a evening with him where we had the opportunity to ask him questions about life and theatre. We would like to thank him once more for visiting our city and sharing with us his precious knowledge. Eleleu Yoshi!
We met some amazing people who traveled from around the world or from diferent parts of the UK to deliver or to participate the workshops including Ira Seidenstein and Selinna Papoutseli. We hosted some innovative performances from Selinna, Ira and Marie soleil and a fantastic Jam with particiapants of the festival as well as artists who travelled from different cities to take part in this event. This time Jam had an audience.
We also hosted two film nights, launch and closing party!
It has been a very inspiring time. We can't wait for next year!

THE MOMENT
So 2008 proves to be so far as busy as ever with some exciting other projects including the continuation of our project with writers from the Everyman. We will be working with two writers; Chris Fittock and Michael Mclean on how we can combine our physical language with text. The outcome of this experiment will be a performance in the Everyword festival at the Everyman Theatre in July. More info here

TIME
In September 08 we are collaborating with our partners Hope Street Ltd on an exciting project as part of their apprenticeship programme. "Time" will be an innovative display of physical theatre, striking visuals and challenging improvisation based on Dusko Sybil's (Croatian artist) paintings who will be painting live on stage. We will be directing the student performers and working with a filmmaker as well as Liverpool’s electro funk group, Winter Bourne and Blaster.
